Rytons Galvanised Steel Grilles Satisfy the Need for Non-combustible Vents

Since the update to Regulation 7(2) banning the use of combustible materials in the external walls of relevant buildings above 18m*, the availability and choice of construction materials suitable for use in high-rise developments has been severely reduced.

To satisfy industry requirements for non-combustible ventilation grilles, Rytons has developed a tailor-made range of galvanised steel air bricks and plenum adaptors suitable for attachment to the building’s rectangular HVAC and extract ducting.

Metal air bricks are available in three styles (return grille, square holed and hooded louvre), in sizes 9×3, 9×6, or bespoke e.g. soldier brick.  Custom metal plenum adaptors can be fabricated to connect air brick grilles to rectangular ducting 110mm x 54mm, 204mm x 60mm and 220mm x 90mm.

To achieve a high-quality finish, all metal grilles, and metal adaptors if required, can be supplied ready powder coated in standard RAL colours, flame-retardant RAL colours or textured finishes, to complement the external facade.
