From working closely with customers, we know every cladding refurbishment project is different and that installation flexibility can make all the difference.
To help make retrofitting non-combustible HVAC ducting as straightforward as possible, Rytons A1® Fire-rated Retrofit Ducting Kits are now available with a NEW floating flange option. The floating flange can be positioned anywhere along the duct to suit site requirements, giving installers flexibility to find the most appropriate fixing position. The new floating flange complements our existing fixed flange, which is positioned at the end of the duct for attachment to the cavity board.
Rytons A1® Fire-rated Retrofit Ducting Kits are available in duct sizes 110x54mm, 204x60mm single, 204x60mm double, and 220x90mm, and in straight, 90° balcony and angled designs. Kits are also available with a choice of air brick styles and over 200 RAL colours to help match the external finish.
Manufactured from A1 classified galvanised steel, they are designed to encase in situ plastic ductwork and allow external installation without requiring access to occupied apartments.
Floating flange: Position along the duct as required for the installation.
Fixed flange: Permanently positioned at the end of the duct.
