Description:

Rytons 9×6 Ventilation Set (TCL18) is a double (two brick) size through-wall ventilation set designed to provide combustion air for boilers, stoves and fires.

Features and Benefits:

  • Telescopic cavity liner set for ventilating boilers, stoves and fires.
  • Contains a system of internal baffles to reduce light and draughts.
  • Finished with a fixed open flush fitting louvre ventilator internally.
  • External water baffles prevent the transfer of water across the cavity.
  • Air brick and louvre grille U.V. stabilised to slow down the effects of sunlight.
  • HETAS approved for use with solid fuel appliances.

Important: This is a plastic component and is not suitable for use in the following:
a) external walls of buildings over 11m high where people sleep, whether residential, institutional or hospitality; or
b) external wall surfaces within 1m of a boundary where the building is 11m high or less, in England.

17,500mm² (175cm²) per set, tested to BS EN 13141-1:2004 and independently verified by the BRE.

  • AirLiner® sleeve: 220mm W x 140mm H, extends from 250mm to 404mm L (including air brick).
  • Louvre grille: 264mm L x 166mm H.

Composition:

  • Multifix® Air Brick: U.V. stabilised polypropylene.
  • AirLiner® sleeve: Polypropylene (contains recycled plastic).
  • Louvre grille: U.V. stabilised high impact polystyrene.

Installation:

No special fixing is required.

  • Build in the cavity liner with fitted air brick as work proceeds.
  • Extend the telescopic sleeve as required.
  • Fix the louvre ventilator internally.

Reference Material:

Equivalent area tested to BS EN 13141-1:2004 and independently verified by the BRE.
