Features and Benefits:

Three ranges of non-combustible external metal grilles with duct connections.
Round FlowRyt^®grilles for attachment to 100mm, 125mm and 150mm diameter ductwork.
175mm x 175mm return louvre grilles with spigot options for 100mm, 125mm and 150mm diameter ducts.
Rectangular return louvre grilles with spigots to suit 110mm x 54mm, 204mm x 60mm and 220mm x 90mm ducting.
Manufactured from A1 classified galvanised steel.
Integral flanges cover damage caused by drilling to maintain a neat appearance in masonry or cladding.
Deep spigots provide a positive attachment for ducting.
Supplied custom powder coated to Class A2-s1, d0. Choose from the RAL Classic colour chart in matt, semi-gloss or gloss finishes to match cladding or brickwork. Signature architectural finishes are also available.
Built-in weather protection. Drainage holes provide discreet water outlets, and louvres promote runoff, reducing the risk of water transfer into the cavity or ducting.
Round spigot attachments compatible with Rytons 125mm dia. AirCore® tubes (AC10TUBE and AC7TUBE) and Rigid Pipe (RD4/RND, RD51RND and RD636RND).
Rectangular spigot attachments compatible with Rytons Flat Channel Ducting (RD4/M, RD51M and RD61M).

Suitable for:
The external walls of high-rise relevant buildings over 18m high (11m high in Scotland).
The external walls of relevant buildings 11m+ in height or more than 5 storeys, undergoing unsafe cladding remediation work (Building Safety Act 2022).
The external walls of higher-risk buildings at least 18m high or with at least 7 storeys (Building Safety Act 2022).
The external surfaces of residential purpose group buildings more than 11m high.
The external surfaces of residential purpose group buildings 11m high or less where an external wall is within 1m of the relevant boundary.
All other residential and non-residential buildings.

Disclaimers:

The installation of metal grilles alone will not satisfy the requirements of high-rise buildings which require all materials forming part of the external wall, or a specified attachment, to be made from non-combustible materials. For compliant ducting kits, see Rytons A1 Fire-rated Range.

A1 Fire Classification Explained:

Rytons A1^® Fire-rated External Grilles with Spigots are made from galvanised steel. Galvanised steel is considered fire class A1 without testing, as per European Commission paper 96/603/EC referred to in BS EN 13501-1:2018.
Classification: A1. Definition: Non-combustible. Description: No contribution to fire.
